I Ish..Working.Work so far has been quite interesting.
I have observed that the standard Rich Mom outfit is branded top (with no label.), branded pants/jeans (no label, again.), designer handbag and...Crocs or Birkenstocks. Every mother that parades into the shop will either be wearing a pair of Crocs, or Birkenstocks. Gawd.
I have finished reading 3 books in the course of working (The Diary of Anne Frank, The Memory Keeper's Daughter and Remember Me?) and I am now a word-find puzzle junkie.
I got my first pay, and blew some of it on lunch, a pedicure and a hair wrap (pictures later.)
I Ish...Sick.My 10am to 10pm hours plus choir rehearsals have been pretty hectic, but I have now caught the flu bug from somewhere. I hate being sick, really. I do.
I Ish...UpdatingJust an update on the Person episode (refer to previous post):
My teacher actually called me that very night to explain to me that she didn't use my script because it was unsuitable for the Person involved, not because of anything else. After interrogation, the Person admitted that it was she herself that had said my script was not up to her standards. After she uttered those words, I seriously had enough. I haven't spoken to said Person since and I am not planning to. Complete dis-association. When I see this Person and she tries to talk to me by force, I will snap at her and all hell will break lose.
I Ish...TrainingI went back to train the SEA Forensics girls, and boy do they need a lot of work.
It's really too bad I can't coach them daily, or we could make some Fine progress.
I miss Forensics so much it aches.
